Jerry Mangona
Jerry Mangona has known Blake since 2005 when he served as an alumni volunteer for their fraternity chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon at the University of Michigan.
He was graduated from the University of Michigan in 2001 after which he began his career as a financial advisor at Edward Jones Investments, where he opened a branch office in Ann Arbor, Michigan which now has over $40 Million in assets under care.
In 2009, Jerry was elected to serve as president of an alumni and volunteer board of Sigma Phi Epsilon's chapter at the University of Michigan. That year he and the board kicked off a project to negotiate, purchase, and renovate a 125-year-old church into the new chapter house for the fraternity. With a total cost of $3.4 Million, the project mandated a fundraising campaign with a goal of raising $1.3 Million in alumni donations to provide the necessary capital to secure the remaining balance in construction lending. Both the construction project and the fundraising campaign have been successful; last August 45 members moved into the new facility.
Jerry currently lives in the Corktown neighborhood in Detroit, Michigan.
