SCIF Celebrates its First Annual Summer BBQ & Silent Auction!
This past July the SCIF team and volunteers hosted our first annual Summer Barbecue and Silent Auction at Cobblestone Farms in Ann Arbor, MI. Attendees enjoyed great food prepared by Chef Tom, the Head Chef for the 2012 Men's and Women's Olympic Basketball Team, and live music led by Eric Christian. Participants also had the opportunity to bid on items like restaurant gift cards, photographs of Detroit, an autographed Detroit Red Wings puck, an EZ Groom Dog Basket, and much more in our silent auction.
All proceeds benefited the Spinal Cord Injury Foundation, where 100% of our funds go towards educational scholarships for individuals with a spinal cord injury. The SCIF team truly appreciates the support of everyone who attended the event, as well as those who could not make the event but still supported the cause through a donation.
